With over 25 years of ski mountaineering experience, Andrew has skied on all seven continents, led numerous expeditions, and accumulated hundreds of first descents in places like Baffin Island, Iran, and Patagonia. His guiding experience includes leading groups in Antarctica, Svalbard, Alaska, and the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. In 1998, he he wrote the now iconic “The Chuting Gallery” which describes the best and most challenging ski descents in Utah’s backcountry. In 2003, he worked as a full-time Avalanche Forecaster for the Utah Avalanche Center. He has taught many avalanche and backcountry safety clinics.

 

Andrew lives in Park City with his wife and two daughters.
