As a transplant from Germany and fully certified as an IFMGA/AMGA Guide, few others can match Andy’s breadth of experience in the mountains of the natural world. From personal forays in competitive long-distance dog sledding across the Yukon and Alaska, to leading climbers to the highest summits in the world, including Everest, Andy has been through thick and thin! His accomplishments aside, though, it’s Andy’s calm, friendly and unassuming demeanor that make him such an effective and desirable person to adventure with.

Calling the western slope of the Uinta Mountains in Northern Utah home, Andy has used his refined skills as a carpenter to build a beautiful domicile for his wife and two daughters. Though drawn to the adventure that expeditions to the greater ranges of the world provide, Andy is also much at home with the simplicity and joy of skiing powder at home here in Utah, with close friends and clients alike!
