A passionate educator and guide, Zach brings to the table an impressive amount of wilderness-based education experience. After teaching for the National Outdoor Leadership School for a decade, Zach gravitated toward the more personalized instruction and relationships that guiding inherently provides. Originally from Pennsylvania, Zach started learning to climb while in college, but he’ll be the first to admit to being a life-long student of the mountains. Through great introspect, Zach believes that although personal amusement is often the driver for engagement in the outdoors, the most significant rewards often stem from the company who we recreate with.
